ISS Hong Kong first awarded Family-Friendly Employer and Award for Breastfeeding Support

The 8th of December 2018, ISS Hong Kong first awarded as “Family-Friendly Employer” and “Award for Breastfeeding Support” in the Family-Friendly Employer Award Scheme 2017/18 to recognize our strategies on family-friendly measures as far as practicable to balance employees' family and work lives.

Ms. Renata Loo, Director of People & Culture said: “We are very pleased to receive these awards, as this reflects our aim of increasing our responsibilities, as we wish to have an impact on the local society and our employees' well-being. We have Employee Caring and Engagement Committee (ECEC) aims to increase our employees’ well-being, promote work-life balance and family core values and these awards are a result of our ideology, we would like to build a more harmonious employment relationship, as this not only will improve our employees’ well-being, but it will also create a more positive customer experience.

About Family-Friendly Employer Award Scheme
Family-Friendly Employer Award Scheme is co-organized by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Family Council. The biennial award scheme was launched in 2011 and this year marked its fifth edition. The Award aims to raise awareness of the employers of the importance of family core values and to foster a pro-family culture and environment. Also, it gives recognition to employers that demonstrate a family-friendly spirit and encourage them to implement family-friendly employment policies and practices.
